Statement
The
Northern Cambria Area Business Alliance represents an intra-municipal
partnership of professionals and individuals committed to
the economic and social welfare of the communities that comprise
the northern area of Cambria County.
We
are committed to promote and provide strong educational opportunities
and community development programs to increase the economic
vitality of our region.

Regular bi-monthly meetings held to afford all members the opportunity
to convey their issues.

Annual Scholarship awarded to a local high school senior.

Alliance for Business and Industry, Membership Chair Tim Whited sits
on the Cambria County Planning Commission and on the CamTran Board
where he is chairman of the rural route,

of the Johnstown-Cambria County Chamber of Commerce with a non-voting
board appointment
- Annual
“Big Kahuna” Golf Tournament to raise funds to covert
back into the community in the form of grant writing

Message from Our Membership Chairman,
Dear
Current NCABA Members and Those Thinking of Joining the NCABA,
I would like to take a moment of your time to thank you for your interest
in the Northern Cambria Area Business Alliance (NCABA) and to invite
you to be part of what has become a driving force in the social and
economic development of the communities surrounding the northern area
of Cambria County.
In
2009 we held a successful career fair, we offered the community educational
events such as “Meet the Candidates for Judge” and “The
State of the County Address”, we also held successful golf tournaments
to raise funds for these events and kept our members informed with the
newsletter and website.
In
addition to being a part of the big picture in our smaller communities,
here are some of the highlights of membership.

Chamber of Commerce Dues!
As
always we will be working with all the communities that comprise the
northern area of Cambria County and those organizations who have an
interest in this area; we will continue to keep you informed of additional
county and state organizations we work with.
Plans
for 2010 include a fundraiser for a local community group, the Big Kahuna
Golf Open on July 2 (mark your calendars now), Spring Career Fair and
as always, bi-monthly meetings and networking events.
